Hebron YDRC concluded on Tuesday 7 January 2026, the activities of the first “Wellbeing Camp", implemented as part of the project “Building Youth Resilience and Wellbeing through MHPSS and Protection in Hebron”, in partnership with Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).
The camp brought together more than 20 children aged 10–15, along with their caretakers, and was delivered through three interactive sessions aimed at promoting mental health, strengthening caretakers and child relationships, and enhancing psychosocial support for children and their caretakers.
The camp focused on fostering positive relationships between caretakers and children through a range of recreational and psychosocial support activities, in addition to joint sessions that brought children and their caretakers together. These activities contributed to creating safe spaces for dialogue and family interaction, while reinforcing family bonds built on understanding and positive communication.
Moreover, the camp activities supported caretakers and children in identifying each other’s characteristics and discovering shared strengths that help build healthy relationships and mutual understanding, positively reflecting on mental wellbeing and overall family stability.
