History

We started for the children, grew to empower the youth, and continue forward to build a brighter future.

Our journey began in 1996 as the Palestinian Child Club, providing children with a safe and nurturing space to learn, play, and grow. As their dreams expanded, so did our vision.

In 2008, we evolved into the Youth Development Resource Center (YDRC), broadening our mission to include youth and pioneers. We introduced programs in empowerment, training, life skills development, and youth media, opening new opportunities for young people.

  • Between 2017 and 2022, we launched a strategic plan focused on children's well-being and youth empowerment, ensuring their active participation in shaping their communities.
  • In 2019, we restructured our internal policies to become a more sustainable and adaptable institution, strengthening our governance and expanding our impact.
  • Today, we move forward with the same passion and commitment, believing that children and youth are the driving force of change and the architects of the future.
