Palestinian Child's Home Club- Hebron Youth Development Resources Center is a non-governmental organization established in 1996 in the city of Hebron. The organization works on developing and implementing various specialized youth projects and programs in the economic, social, cultural, and sports sectors.
The organization is seeking to recruit a highly organized, detail-oriented, and competent Admin & Accountant with proven experience in administrative and financial operations within NGO environments.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Duties
- Maintain, update, and document administrative processes.
- Provide general office support including managing supplies, scheduling, and communication.
- Support procurement tasks and maintain procurement processes.
- Maintain and document contractual and administrative files.
- Assist in basic HR/HR-related tasks (staff records, attendance, and simple personnel procedures).
Accounting Duties
- Organize and settle receipts of advance payments.
- Prepare payment vouchers and ensure all requests are properly supported and approved.
- Ensure all purchase requests are processed prior to payment.
- Record financial transactions and assist in bank reconciliations.
Required Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in Admin & Accounting roles within NGOs or donor-funded projects.
- Good understanding of procurement procedures and personnel administration.
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems, administrative procedures, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English with strong professional communication skills.
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Experience working with donor regulations and compliance procedures.
- Knowledge and experience in auditing procedures.
- Experience working with financial systems used in NGOs and non-profit organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong documentation skills.
- Familiarity with Audit software/program
