The Hebron Youth Development Resource Center – Palestinian Child's Home Club (HYDRC) is seeking to recruit two full-time Social Workers for the project:
"Support, Integration, Care and Humanitarian Assistance for Children, Youth and Adults Victims of Violence in Jerusalem (E1) and Hebron (H1)" in Hebron Governorate.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct initial assessments of children and families through individual and community-based visits.
Deliver unstructured Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) sessions for children and adolescents.
Facilitate structured support groups for children, adolescents, and caregivers in accordance with the project guidelines and methodologies.
Provide counseling, awareness-raising, and psychoeducation sessions on protection, violence prevention, mental health, and positive parenting.
Ensure appropriate referrals to specialized services in coordination with relevant stakeholders and service providers.
Follow up with children and families to ensure access to and receipt of appropriate services.
Coordinate referrals and follow-up with specialized service providers in the areas of protection, health, and education.
Monitor referred cases and ensure that beneficiaries receive the required services.
Document cases and prepare periodic reports while ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and adherence to ethical standards.
Comply with the organization's Code of Conduct and all institutional policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Sociology, or any other relevant field.
A minimum of two years of professional experience in protection and/or Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) projects.
Good knowledge of Psychological First Aid (PFA), Child Protection, and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) concepts and approaches.
Strong skills in planning, organization, time management, and report writing.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
