The Hebron Youth Development Resource Center – Palestinian Child's Home Club (HYDRC) is seeking to recruit a full-time project coordinator for the project:
“Support, Integration, Care, and Humanitarian Assistance for Children, Youth and Adults Victims of Violence in Jerusalem (E1) and Hebron (H1)” in Hebron Governorate.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the implementation of project activities related to Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) and Protection through partner community-based organizations.
- Develop detailed work plans for all project activities and ensure their implementation in accordance with the approved timeline.
- Coordinate directly with partner organizations in the targeted areas and supervise implementation teams, including facilitators and social workers.
- Organize follow-up meetings and provide technical support to project staff to ensure quality implementation and adherence to approved methodologies.
- Conduct regular field monitoring visits for psychosocial support activities targeting children, including both structured and unstructured sessions, as well as resilience-building activities.
- Support the establishment of Community Protection Committees and follow up on their regular meetings and activities.
- Prepare periodic progress reports highlighting achievements, challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations.
- Collect and compile monitoring and evaluation data in close coordination with the MEAL team to ensure the quality and accuracy of project results.
- Maintain continuous coordination and communication with the Programs Manager, project partners, and donor representatives regarding project progress and indicators.
- Ensure the effective implementation of safeguarding, protection, and safety policies within the institution and among project partners.
- Comply with the organization's Code of Conduct and all applicable policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Sociology, Project Management, or any other related field.
- At least three years of relevant experience in managing and coordinating protection and/or MHPSS projects.
- Good knowledge of Psychological First Aid (PFA), Child Protection, and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) concepts and approaches.
- Proven experience in coordinating with community-based organizations and local partner institutions.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent report writing, documentation, and data management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability and willingness to conduct field visits and travel between governorates as required.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse and challenging environments.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
