Palestinian Youth National Council Elections for the Hebron Governorate

The Hebron Youth Development Resources Center – Palestinian Child’s Home Club extends its heartfelt congratulations to our candidate Sara Khmaisah and to a number of our young volunteers from partner organizations and Safe Spaces for their victory in the Palestinian Youth National Council Elections for the Hebron Governorate.

These elections were organized by the Higher Council for Youth and Sports under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Khaled Dudin, Governor of Hebron, and with the dedicated efforts of the Council’s teams, supervised by Mr. Mohammad Sbeihat, Director General of Youth Affairs, Mr. Najeh Al-Azza, Director General of the Southern Branch, and Mr. Mohammad Al-Haimouni, Director of the Higher Council Office in Hebron.

The Center greatly values the pioneering role of His Excellency Major General Jibril Rajoub, President of the Higher Council for Youth and Sports, for his continuous support of Palestinian youth and for opening opportunities for their active participation in decision-making positions, alongside the tireless work of the General Secretariat led by Mr. Issam Al-Qaddoumi and all the staff of the Higher Council.

We also extend our deep appreciation to the representatives of official and civil institutions, sports clubs, and youth and scout groups who actively participated and contributed to the success of this honorable democratic experience.

This victory is an important step towards empowering our youth and involving them in leadership and decision-making roles, reaffirming our Center’s commitment to continue supporting them within our institution and with our partners to help them become impactful leaders in their communities.
