A delegation from Hebron YDRC visited the headquarters of Hebron Governorate on Sunday morning to strengthen frameworks of joint cooperation and partnership with official institutions, explore ways to support youth and community work in the governorate, and showcase the main activities, events, and projects implemented by the center, particularly those targeting youth and enhancing their community role. The delegation also expressed appreciation for the continuous support of the Local Employment Council for the institution’s programs.
The delegation included Vice Chairman of the Board Mr. Kifah Al-Sharif, Treasurer Dr. Mohammad Ziad Al-Jaabari, Secretary Ms. Malak Abu Meizer, board members Dr. Youssef Al-Takrouri and Mr. Omar Al-Qawasmeh, Executive Director Eng. Omar Dahman, Program Director Eng. Anas Sarabta, Financial Manager Hussein Hamdan, and several staff members of the center.
They were received by His Excellency the Governor of Hebron, Mr. Khaled Dudin, Deputy Governor Brig. General Taysir Al-Fakhouri, and Eng. Louay Al-Qaisi, Vice Chairman of the Local Employment and Vocational Training Council in Hebron. The governor welcomed the visiting delegation, praising the pioneering role of the center in empowering youth, developing their skills, and enhancing their community participation, emphasizing the importance of integrating efforts between official and civil institutions to serve youth and children.
During the meeting, the delegation reviewed the programs and initiatives implemented by Hebron YDRC in the fields of psychological and social support and skills development, stressing the importance of partnership with official institutions to ensure the sustainability of these programs and expand their reach. Prospects for joint cooperation between Hebron Governorate and the club were also discussed.
Both parties discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between Hebron YDRC and Hebron Governorate. The center’s delegation highlighted its main achievements, programs, future vision, and opportunities for collaboration with the governorate and the Local Employment Council, serving Palestinian youth and children.
In his speech, the governor expressed his happiness with the visit and emphasized his aspiration to enhance the partnership with Hebron YDRC to serve the community and implement quality programs that contribute to youth empowerment.
Mr. Kifah Al-Sharif highlighted the importance of genuine partnership with official institutions to enhance youth capacities and enable them to actively participate in their community, noting that the visit aims to consolidate cooperation frameworks and build a better future for the children and youth of Hebron.
Dr. Mohammad Ziad Al-Jaabari explained that cooperation between civil and government institutions is fundamental for achieving sustainable development. He affirmed the center’s commitment to providing innovative programs that support youth and open opportunities for growth and success, praising the role of the Local Employment Council in promoting job opportunities and supporting employment programs in Hebron.
Eng. Omar Dahman noted that developing partnerships with all official and community institutions contributes to youth empowerment, and that joint work with Hebron Governorate will result in quality programs that support young talents and enhance their community participation.
He also reviewed the development stages of the club’s programs, target groups, types of activities offered, and efforts to expand cooperation with safe spaces and partner institutions within Hebron and other governorates.
At the end of the visit, the Hebron YDRC delegation honored the Governor of Hebron as a token of the institution’s appreciation for his ongoing support and cooperation, and for his continuous efforts in serving the residents of the governorate and supporting youth and community initiatives.
This visit comes as part of efforts to strengthen the relationship between official institutions and local community organizations, serving the public interest and supporting sustainable community development initiatives.
