The General Assembly of Hebron YDRC held its regular annual meeting today, Saturday, 14/2/2026, to elect a new Board of Directors for the 2026–2029 term, consisting of 13 members, as part of the center’s commitment to consolidating principles of institutional governance and ensuring the continuity of youth and community work.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Rami Al-Jaabari, Director of Public Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, representing the ministry, and Mr. Mohammad Al-Haymuni, Director of the Office of the Supreme Councilfor Youth and Sports in Hebron, representing thecouncil.
The session was opened, upon reaching the legalquorum, with the recitation of Al-Fatiha for the soul of martyrs and the late former president of the center, Helmi Al-Qawasmi, in appreciation of his contributions and effortsin serving the center’s mission and developmentaljourney.
The session was then inaugurated by Eng. Anas Sarabta, Director of Programs at Hebron YDRC, with a welcoming speech emphasizing the importance of holding the annual meeting for performance evaluation and enhancing community participation, while stressing the growing role of the center in serving youth and the local community.
Following that, the nomination process took place, andthe attendees agreed on the selection of the new Boardof Directors, which is as follows:
At the conclusion of the meeting, the newly elected Board of Directors delivered a speech expressing gratitude and appreciation to the General Assembly members for the trust they placed in them, affirming their commitment to continuing the development of Hebron YDRC’s programs, enhancing the quality of its services, and ensuring the continuity of its work to meet the needs of the local community, particularly youth.
On their part, Mr. Rami Al-Jaabari and Mr. Mohammad Al-Haymuni praised the pioneering role of HebronYDRC, commending the ongoing efforts of the center’s staff and administration in maintaining the provision of its specialized programs despite the challenges and difficult circumstances facing community work.
