Hebron YDRC held an introductory meeting on Saturday, 9 May 2026, with new volunteers, attended by more than 30 young people interested in volunteer work. The meeting was part of the center’s efforts to expand its volunteer network and strengthen youth participation in various community initiatives and activities.
The meeting began with welcoming remarks, during which the center’s team expressed their delight at the arrival of a new group of young people eager to engage in volunteer work and serve their community, emphasizing the importance of youth in creating positive impact and promoting initiative and teamwork.
The meeting also included an introductory presentation about Hebron YDRC, its programs, and its various activities, as well as the volunteer fields and opportunities the center offers for youth community engagement and skills development.
This was followed by an open discussion session, during which the volunteers’ questions were heard and ideas and suggestions were exchanged, with the participation of Board members Safwat Al-Qawasmeh, Rifqa Hejja, Shihda Al-Natsheh, and Omar Al-Qawasmeh, along with Eng. Omar Dahman, Executive Director; Eng. Anas Al-Sarabta, Programs Manager; Finance Manager Hussein Hamdan; and Mr. Khaled Al-Qawasmi.
The meeting was marked by an interactive atmosphere that reflected the enthusiasm of the youth and their strong interest in volunteering. In closing, the center’s team expressed their appreciation for the active attendance of the young participants, reaffirming their commitment to further developing volunteer programs and activities that respond to young people’s interests and strengthen their role in the community. It was also agreed to hold another meeting in the coming period to develop a participatory volunteer program based on the volunteers’ ideas.
