Hebron YDRC Visits Hebron Rehabilitation Committee to Strengthen Cooperation Frameworks

A delegation from Hebron YDRC visited the headquarters of the Hebron Rehabilitation Committee this morning, with the aim of strengthening the framework of joint cooperation, exploring ways to support community and cultural work in the Old City, and reviewing the most prominent activities and projects implemented by the committee in the field of preserving urban heritage and cultural identity.

The delegation included the chairman of the club’s board of directors, Mr. Kefah Al-Sharif; the vice chairman of the board, Mr. Mohammed Al-Jaabari; board members Mr. Shhada Al-Natsheh, Mr. Omar Al-Qawasmi, and Mr. Safwat Al-Qawasmeh; the executive director of Hebron YDRC, Engineer Omar Al-Dahman; the programs director, Engineer Anas Al-Sarabta; and the financial director, Mr. Hussein Hamdan.

The delegation was received by the general director of the Hebron Rehabilitation Committee, Mohannad Al-Jaabari, who welcomed the visiting delegation, commending the pioneering role played by the institution in empowering young people, developing their capacities, and enhancing their community participation. He also stressed the importance of integrating efforts between the Hebron Rehabilitation Committee and civil society institutions in serving youth and childhood issues.

During the meeting, a number of developmental activities and projects aimed at supporting the Old City and strengthening the resilience of its residents were discussed, in addition to the importance of joint cooperation in implementing programs that serve children, youth, and the local community, and contribute to revitalizing cultural and social life within the Old City.

The delegation from the Palestinian Child House Club also congratulated the Hebron Rehabilitation Committee on winning the Natavan Heritage Excellence Award, praising its major efforts in preserving the urban heritage and cultural identity of the Old City of Hebron.

This visit comes as part of efforts to strengthen the partnership between civil society institutions and the Hebron Rehabilitation Committee, in a way that serves the goals of community development and heritage preservation in the Old City of Hebron.
