Hebron YDRC organized a public event this evening featuring a live screening of the Egypt national football team’s match against Argentina in the Round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The event was held as part of the “Our Home 2026” season, organized by the center in celebration of 30 years since its establishment.
The match represented a historic achievement for Egypt, as the national team reached the FIFA World Cup Round of 16 for the first time in its history. The event brought together children, youth, families, and volunteers in an enthusiastic sporting atmosphere, where attendees followed the match with great excitement and passionately supported the Egyptian national team. The gathering reflected a spirit of participation and solidarity while providing a memorable community experience that combined entertainment with meaningful engagement.
Hebron YDRC affirmed that organizing this event comes within the diverse program of the “Our Home 2026” season, which aims to provide safe and open spaces that bring members of the community together and promote participation through a range of sports, cultural, and recreational activities for all age groups.
The season, launched to mark three decades since the establishment of Hebron YDRC, continues to deliver high-quality events that bring joy to children, youth, and families while strengthening a sense of belonging and teamwork through programs that integrate entertainment, education, volunteering, and community impact.
